So April 2020, we're all feeling it. A few (or a lot) worse than others but everybody's dealing.

Now "Quarantine Tapes" is a way better title but words are useful, powerful, and specific. 90% of us aren't in "quarantine" and like usual, our culture loves to incorrectly overuse and bash a term or phrase into the ground until it's lost all meaning. So, "Isolation Tapes" is definitely more representative of how everyone's feeling.

Shelter in place, lock-down, house arrest or whatever you wanna call it: has been an adjustment for everybody. I like spending time at home with my family. We already spent a lot of time parked in front of the TV (just like all of you). But we'd also been doing a lot better about getting out and staying active over the last couple years-- so that's been a psychological hit for sure. A big glaring challenge for me has been the elimination of various band practices and music-dude-get-togethers. Going through withdrawals from an apparent lack of blatant exhibitionism masked and shielded in the protection of hanging out with buddies. That's tough. And that's really been doing my head in.

There are too many songs on deck for various projects (THE MOANS, THE CRAPPYS, and new stuff like FUZZONE, ENAMORS, and ELECTROLYTES). I'm going to start forgetting new songs before I have a chance to show them to the guys. So this will be a terribly recorded digital song book of sorts. Each song will have a video for the folks who like to absorb their content like that.

No schedule. No goals or declarations.
Shit gets posted when it gets posted.

I suck at recording music. I suck at making videos. I suck at coming up with backup vocals. But I really like the songs that I write and I wanna share them. Hopefully these songs break up the monotony of your day a little while we all deal with the world.
